It's only this retention that enables the script to work effectively.Īll the other 'clones' either obscure the actual download URL via multiple redirects, or else the package name changes to reflect the version number with every release. It will not be receiving any further updates, so a script would be a complete waste of time.Īpart from Chrome, Iron is the ONLY other Chromium-based 'clone' where the download package constantly retains the same name all the time. There is no point in building one for the 32-bit version, because this has been pinned at version 88, and labelled "legacy". This is only for the 64-bit browser package. Accordingly, I've whipped up a similar updater script for the 64-bit Iron browser, which appears to work every bit as effectively. Now then following successful implementation of an included updater script in my Chrome-portable builds, I've managed to obtain a correct download URL for the SRWare Iron. You can add a Menu entry from wherever it's located. Click to enter, click the appropriate 'LAUNCH script to fire 'er up. In that respect, at least, it's all good stuff!Īs usual, you can find this at the normal link in post #1.ĭ/l unzip move it wherever you want. Again, if you want shot of it, rt-click on it and de-select it.Īside from all this idiocy, everything's as smooth as so much oiled silk, which we've come to expect from the Iron team by now. There's also the 'Reading List' function, to the right of the 'Other bookmarks' icon on the Bookmarks toolbar. All the new Chromium 'clones' have now got this why the Chromium dev team ever thought it a good idea to move this out of the general settings, I'll never know. It's picked up the annoying extra bits'n'bobs from Chromium the window title bar is back showing by default, until you rt-click on the tab bar and de-select 'Use system title bar & borders'. We've reached the limit of my ability to make newer releases compatible with older Puppies for what the browser now requires, you nearly have to rebuild an older Puppy into a newer one. (As with Chrome, I've left v91 available for those of you running older Puppies. Without further ado, here's the Puppy-portable version of v.0, based on Chromium 93. It's once again been almost 3 months since Iron 91 hit the shelves. Ironportable.png (30.86 KiB) Viewed 1615 timesįINALLY!!! I was beginning to think the SRWare team had forgotten about us again here in Linux-land. I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I am genuinely confused as to whether I should be able to download a 64 bit v or not. 0 (which is the one I've just downloaded from your link) or v which is the one mentioned in the title of the thread. I am pretty sure I'm using the 64 bit version of iron (please see attached image).Ĭan you tell me if the most up to date 64 bit version of iron is v. I then wondered if I'd downloaded the 32 bit version by mistake but I did not think it would have worked in the 64 bit easyOS v2.9 in which I am using it with to make this post. 0 and not v as the the title of the thread suggests. I downloaded the 64 bit version from your link but when I opened it and checked the version it reported as v. In this case the issue is with the 64 bit version of Iron which I was updating. Usually I am looking for 32 bit versions but as you know I've bee trying to move away from my favourite 32 bit pups because of the 32 bit browser issues. I think I warned you a while back this was happening in fact, I'm sure I did. The final 32-bit version is now 'pinned' as a 'legacy' build on their website. SRWare quit building the 32-bit browser after v89.

Have also tried different codecs for WMP (K-Lite and Shark007). I have tried all of the above using another PC with Win7 and the same things happen. They are connected through a 3com gigabit switch. I run a decent PC with a Core i7 2600k, an SSD vertex 3 120GB and 16gb of 1600Mhz ram on win7.įreeNAS has been set up using a 2.4Ghz Celeron D, 2GB of Ram, 4x2TB WD Green Sata2 drives and a usb 8GB stick on an asus m/b with a pci gigabit lan card. It is also capable of accepting 2-3s Lipo batteries. They’re the Training, Sport, and Racing mode. It does come also with a Velineon ® VXL-3s ESC that has three driving modes which are available in almost any Traxxas RC car. In fact, it is the principal responsibility of the performance of this RC car. When it comes to performance, this Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate is the most powerful of all the Slash sisters.īut, it has a lot of common things between her and the 4×4 VXL.įirst of all, Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate comes with Velineon ® 3500 Brushless Motor that is so strong. Having such parts should mean that this Slash 4×4 Ultimate has to be super powerful. This metal servo comes only with the stock Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate. In fact, the only way to know that this is a Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate is by looking at the aluminum parts as well as the servo since it’s a metal servo. Other than that, everything else is almost the same. This is also one of the reasons why the Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate is more reliable! These bumpers have a great role in protecting and absorbing a big amount of shocks. What’s great about the Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate and all the Slash family is the front and rear bumpers. But, it doesn’t come with aluminum caster blocks!Īfter all, they both have their own features.Īlso, the structure of the chassis is almost the same as the one on the Slash 4×4 and the Slash 4×4 VXL. Well, not all the parts are the same.įor example, Traxxas X-Maxx has comes with Aluminum wheel hubs. You may say that the X-Maxx comes also with the same aluminum parts. These parts include the aluminum GTR shocks, central driveshaft, and caster blocks that link the wheels with the rest of the RC car. Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate chassis comes with a lot of aluminum parts. Even Traxxas X-Maxx has just a half of it.ĭo you what it is? It’s the aluminum package! There is even a greater fact! Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate is the only Traxxas RC car that comes in stock with this feature. And this advantage is what makes the Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate the best Slash ever! However, when it comes to the chassis, this RC car has a big advantage. Just a piece of plastic!Īs you saw in the previous section, almost everything concerning the body is the same as the other versions. In conclusion, the body is so normal and basic. This means that you can replace it in case of being cracked easily. This is one of the reasons why Traxxas Slash is well known for its durability even if it’s cheap.Īnother thing about this Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate is the availability of the body. That gives extra protection to the internal parts unlike some other Traxxas RC cars like the Stampede. There is also the great thing that a lot of people love about the body of the Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate which is how wide it is. In addition to that, fake headlights and windows that give the Slash its identity are there as well. And without the different colors, you couldn’t notice which version it is!Īs with any other Traxxas Slash, the body comes with 4 clips spread across the front and the rear. Other than that, everything else is the same. It is also so attractive with its design than the other Slashes. Those colors are not available in the other stock versions. However, the only big difference between this and the other versions is that it has its own colors. Like any other Slash, Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate has the same body as its peers. Let me show you what Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate is capable of in the next few lines… Having the Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate can make you able to compete against the best Traxxas RC cars like the Maxx! But the most important thing is the fact that it has some features that no other Traxxas RC car has! But what people don’t know is the fact that there are two more other versions which are the brushless one, and the Ultimate version that is the most powerful. What about the others? They’re not that popular. But the most famous ones are the Slash 2WD in the first place and the 4×4 version in the second place! Traxxas Slash comes with a lot of versions. And the one we’re reviewing is the Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate! However, there are a lot of different versions. What I Like About The Traxxas Slash 4×4 UltimateĪ lot of people think that Traxxas Slash is that cheap RC car with cheap parts.Things I Don’t Like About Traxxas Slash 4×4 Ultimate. Seek feedback from others as appropriate – either prior to your new role or in the first days at the office – and make sure to consider and include enterprise, team and individual goals. An onboarding plan is essentially a road map for new hires to help them adjust and eventually succeed in their new working environment. While a 30/60/90-day plan cannot guarantee success in a new role, outlining high-level goals and priorities with an accompanying action plan will facilitate the right mindset and allow for more seamless execution. Finally, he made sure that his progress, as measured against his 30/60/90-day plan and more generally, was “very visible” to his manager and team. Speaking from a position of leadership, he also told his team what he stood for, how he liked to work and what he expected from them. Gee took pains to meet as many people in the organization as possible in his early days in the role. Executing quick wins that can foreshadow more substantial improvements.Establishing and monitoring key personal metrics.Building relationships, coalitions and your team. This put her face to face with individuals (scattered across the country) who were critical to her understanding of long-standing issues and generation of practical, optimal solutions.Īs you reflect on Gee's and Jordan’s plans and devise your own, you may wish to include some agenda items from Gee’s chart: She planned flights to five cities over two trips-making creative use of layovers-with a short break in-between. Jordan then devised a tight yet manageable travel schedule for the following three weeks. In this way, she gained clarity, demonstrated authority and made initial progress on all key areas, as well as with her team. She devoted the mornings of her first week at her new office to meeting with team members individually and spent afternoons on conference calls discussing each project in turn. Tempted to triage and move to execute on each of these projects as soon as possible, Jordan nonetheless recognized that she first needed to set the tone and goals for her own team. She also could clearly map out how her efforts across these projects would support larger organizational goals. On her plate was to help realign a splintered board of directors, merge diverse geographical regions under a smaller subset of managers and replace two key employees (which she labeled as Projects A, B and C), all while meeting the overarching goals of increasing revenue and raising the organization’s reputation in the marketplace.īy breaking up each of Projects A, B and C into achievable goals over manageable periods, Jordan could better predict the steps, time investment and travel schedule she would need to tackle each one. While Jordan would have valued time to settle into her role before leaping into action, she was hired by her new CEO on the assumption she would swiftly shore up certain trouble spots in the organization (and be compensated accordingly). In the remaining columns across her chart, she mapped her goals for each over 30, 60 and 90 days. In successive rows of her header column, Jordan listed her main constituents (board of directors, CEO, other C-suite leaders, regional managers and her team) followed by top anticipated projects and other areas to address. One of my C-level clients, let’s call her Jordan, structured her own 30/60/90-day plan as follows: As you review it, reflect on the relevant questions and guiding principles for your own plan and how to best structure what you want and need to make your greatest sustainable impact in the first 90 days. Gee’s chart features both a high-level structure and sufficient detail to keep him on track. Who are the key players (outlined in a stakeholder analysis and influence map)? Within each, he defined high-level departure points to guide his execution of top priorities, such as: He structured his plan as a chart with "People," "Process" and "Technology" as headers. If you are not familiar with 30/60/90-day transition plans, Gee's article offers an excellent overview. I realize that I’m working on a high-resolution RAW image, but doing edits at full size should still feel snappy and responsive. Working with the Heal brush also causes some very noticeable lag, especially when working at 100% zoom. I did notice some response lag when first applying basic effects like saturation tweaks, which is pretty disappointing in a program that’s already reached version 2. Given this thoughtfulness, it’s frustrating that all the fundamental exposure and contrast controls are applied as a single step via the ‘Basic Adjustments’ filter. This is a nice touch that allows you to go back and experiment with different editing styles easily without having to go back through a linear chain of ‘undo’ commands. Each edit is applied non-destructively as a stacked ‘filter.’ The stack order is adjustable. Before and After of some standard edits with Topaz Studio’s ‘Basic Adjustments’ filterĭespite the focus on ‘creative editing,’ Topaz Studio contains all the standard adjustment controls they dismiss in their marketing pitches. As you’d expect, editing controls are on the right, with your image front and center. I found the menu and tooltip text rendering a bit fuzzy on my 1440p monitor, though. The interface is cleanly designed in the now-universal layout style shared by every photo editor released in the last 10 years. A Topaz account is required to use the program A quick introductory guide helps new users learn the basics, although it doesn’t scale up cleanly above 1080p Topaz Studio 2 is available on both Mac and PC, as a standalone program and a plugin for Photoshop and Lightroom. Topaz Labs shifted to a flat-rate model, though, with the release of the latest version. Topaz Studio was first released as a free app with paid modules for specific adjustments and effects. However, that’s the program’s guiding philosophy. It’s an extremely difficult line to walk, as an over-dependence on ‘creative filters’ makes it all too easy to wind up with cookie-cutter results. The most important thing to remember about Topaz Studio is that it’s aimed at users who want a simplified editing process that still creates superbly stylized images. Let me save you some time: I’ll take you through Topaz Studio with a photographer’s eye. I’m sure you feel the same way about your own workflows but can’t be bothered to put every new program through its paces. I always want to make sure that I’m using the best tools out there, whether I’m editing photos for clients or retouching my personal images. As a long-time reviewer and photographer, I’ve tested out nearly every photo editor under the sun. Poor interface design choices & scaling issues. What I Don’t Like: Basic adjustments can be slow when first used. What I Like: Edits applied non-destructively as filter layers. While they’re undeniably impressive to look at, you’re probably not going to use all of them regularly.Ĭonsidering the high price point for an editor that doesn’t include their advanced tools, you can definitely find better value elsewhere. As a result, Topaz Studio is a bit of a bad bargain at the moment: you’re essentially paying for complicated Instagram filters. Unfortunately, the most exciting tools developed by Topaz Labs aren’t included in Topaz Studio by default, though they can integrate easily enough for an extra fee. However, you probably won’t want to use it as your everyday photo editor. This makes it easy to turn your photos into complex artistic creations using preset Looks and filters. Its claim to fame is that it’s built from the ground up, focusing on ‘creative photo editing’ rather than being another program with the same old adjustment sliders. Topaz Studio 2 is one of the newest photo editors in an increasingly crowded category. This allows it to flow smoothly onto the tape. The joint compound should be mixed to a creamy consistency, similar to that of thick paint. First, you'll want to focus on the mud consistency. Proper adjustment of your drywall taping banjo is crucial for achieving the best results. How to Adjust the Drywall Taping Banjo for Optimal Performance? Mud Consistency Since a banjo contains the mud within a compartment, it reduces the potential for mess, leading to easier cleanup and less waste. With traditional taping, there's a greater risk of dropping or splattering joint compound, which can be hard to clean up, especially when dried. Lastly, a drywall taping banjo encourages cleanliness. By combining these steps, a banjo reduces fatigue, allowing for more prolonged work periods, which can be critical on larger jobs or in professional settings where time is money. Hand taping can become physically demanding over time, with the repeated need to load up a taping knife with mud and apply tape. When working on large-scale projects, the drywall taping banjo can be a game-changer. It also removes the challenge of manually applying tape and mud to corners, which can be a tricky skill to master. This feature can be a major timesaver, especially in rooms with a large number of corners. Some models come with an attached corner applicator, allowing for simultaneous taping and mudding of both sides of an inside corner. The drywall taping banjo also has its perks when it comes to handling corners and challenging areas. Handling Corners with Corner Applicator Attachments The consistency offered by a taping banjo can be particularly beneficial for less experienced users or DIY enthusiasts who may struggle with achieving the correct mud thickness using traditional methods. This uniformity helps to ensure a smooth, flat finish on the drywall seams, which contributes to a professional end result. A well-adjusted drywall taping banjo provides a uniform layer of mud onto the tape, eliminating guesswork and reducing the potential for error. Improved ConsistencyĪnother advantage lies in consistency. In contrast, a drywall taping banjo combines these two steps, applying an even layer of mud directly onto the tape as it's dispensed, thus speeding up the process. When manually applying joint compound and tape, the process can be time-consuming and meticulous. For one, it drastically increases efficiency. The use of a drywall taping banjo brings a host of benefits, especially when compared to traditional hand taping methods. What are the Advantages of Using a Drywall Taping Banjo Over Traditional Methods? Increased Efficiency If you're new to using this tool, it might be worthwhile to practice on some scrap drywall before tackling a major project. However, it requires some practice to perfect the technique. Using a drywall taping banjo can significantly speed up the taping process, especially for larger jobs. This tool allows you to tape and mud both sides of an interior corner in one step, making it a valuable time-saver. Most models come with adjustable mud flow settings, allowing you to control the amount of mud applied to the tape based on the specific requirements of your project.įor corners and other tricky areas, some drywall taping banjos come with a corner attachment. One of the great features of a drywall taping banjo is its adaptability. Also, use a drywall knife to press and smooth the tape against the wall, removing any excess mud and air bubbles in the process. While applying the tape, ensure that you maintain even pressure to allow for a consistent layer of mud on the tape. Hold the banjo at an angle against the wall, allowing the tape to come out flat and smooth. Once the mud and tape are loaded, you can begin applying the tape along the seams of the drywall. Fill the mud compartment with an appropriate amount of joint compound, ensuring it has the right consistency. Using a drywall taping banjo is simple once you get the hang of it. The freshly mudded tape can then be applied directly to the joints between drywall sheets, saving the step of manually mudding the tape. As you pull the tape through the banjo, it becomes evenly coated with drywall mud on one side. The tool holds a roll of tape which is fed through a mud-filled compartment. The mechanism of a drywall taping banjo is fairly straightforward. This tool significantly expedites the taping phase of drywall finishing, enhancing productivity and efficiency. What is a Drywall Taping Banjo and How Does It Work?Ī Drywall Taping Banjo is a specialized tool used by construction and home improvement professionals to streamline the process of applying joint tape and mud during drywall installation. Combat Mat: A High Impact Jobsite Floor Reinforcer for Drywall Delivery This time, the story follows a narcissistic vlogger / influencer who ends up traveling to Moscow with his friends to visit a special escape room. One of those "escape room" games turns out to be deadly. Wernick directed a 2017 horror called Escape Room, which is not the same as the Sony Pictures horror Escape Room, but they all have the same concept anyway. has released a trailer for a horror film titled No Escape, the latest from filmmaker Will Wernick. He made several non-genre films, mostly thrillers, with Percentage (2014), The Wrath (2015) and Altitude (2017), before returning to genre material with House of the Witch (2017) and The Art of Murder (2018)."As real as everything might seem… you're safe." Vertical Ent. Jeni Ross at least proves a promising face.Īlex Merkin first appeared with the horror film Across the Hall (2009) based on his earlier short film. It all feels like tepid scares that are played safe for the tv movie audience. On the other hand, there is nothing to any of the scenes where the victims are killed that raises the pulse in any way. He does well in terms of providing atmosphere and texture – the house does look spooky. The kicker comes as they get into the car and find that they glove compartment and key slot are protected by the same combination locks that appeared throughout the house – in other words that they are still caught up in the escape room’s illusion.ĭirector Alex Merkin delivers a competent film. Outside they find their vehicle now repaired and waiting. There is the suggestion that they have travelled back in time to the point when they entered the diner and that the person in the bathroom stall was them hiding, before they exit the diner as they hear their earlier selves talking to the waitress (Kate Hurman). Here Mark Ghanimê and Jeni Ross make an escape from the house. The end does reach an interestingly ambiguous place. Father Mark Ghanimé, and daughter Jeni Ross prepare to enter the escape room The characters that appear may be ghosts while it is also speculated that this could well be part of the illusion and due to some type of human agency, although the end definitely opts for supernatural explanations. The frustrating thing about No Escape Room is that it is not clear at the end what exactly is going on in the house and who or what is killing people. The small body of escape room films have quickly exhausted most of the cinematic possibilities of the idea within a short space of time – where either the people inside the room(s) are trying to escape because of a supernatural/occult threat of some type or a more mundane agency like a killer. There were two films in the same year entitled Escape Room (2017) and Escape Room (2017), followed by No Escape Room, the high-profile theatrically released Escape Room (2019), which led to a sequel Escape Room: Tournament of Champions (2021), and Escape: Puzzle of Fear (2020) and No Escape (2020). Towards the end of the decade, the phenomenon started to emerge onto film in a bunch of the films that came out all around the same time. By the end of the 2010s, there were escape rooms in most major centres around the world. The phenomenon of the escape room – where people are locked in a room or rooms and have to interpret a series of clues to find a way out within a given length of time – has grown as a form of entertainment in the 2010s. They cannot be sure if the escape room is haunted or it is all part of the show. As the session gets underway and they try to solve the puzzles, members of the group start to be killed. At the location, they are joined by a couple Tyler and Melanie and a solitary guy Andrew. While waiting in the nowhere town for the car to be repaired, Michael finds an ad for an escape room in a local paper and they decide to fill the time by attending. Michael and his teenage daughter Karen are travelling through the countryside when their vehicle breaks down. Genograms: Assessment and intervention (3rd ed.). The following books have been genogram "Bibles" for me throughout the years: It will also help you to have sample genograms as you move forward with tracking patterns over generations. In order to continue your family of origin exploration, you will need a manual for learning about genograms and genogram symbols. Also complete the family of origin system for your partner. Her older brother is married, and he is connected to his wife, as well as his family of origin.Īs you draw this generation, make sure to include all siblings, and their relationships and children. She has been linked to her FOO by a solid line placing her in her sibling position as the second child of two children. In the figure below, Amy's genogram has been extended to include her family of origin, including her older brother, her mother, and her father. 2 | Add the next generation, and place yourself and the members of your generation in the corresponding relationships and sibling positions I am not suggesting you take this on right now, but I am encouraging you to not set a limit for yourself, because you never know what you might learn during your exploration. My genogram included my great-great grandparents. For my first genogram, I included five generations I was a member of the first generation at the time, because I did not yet have a child. Your basic genogram will include at least three generations "above" your generation, but ideally, you'd include as many generations as possible. This will make it easier to add generations as you continue. In the example below (Figure 1), Amy is the therapist creating the genogram she is the "explorer." She is married to Bob, and they have a daughter, "M." Marriage is noted by the solid line that connects Amy to Bob, and runs above "M." If Amy and Bob were not married, this line would be dashed (as shown in Figure 2).īegin drawing your genogram low and centered on the paper. When you draw your symbol, include a double line (circle or square) to signify that you are the one taking on the family of origin exploration. If you create a genogram with a client, then the client is the "explorer." It includes: your parents, if you live at home your partner, if you live with him/her your children, if you are a parent. Your current family system is you, in your current relationship or living situation. 1 | Draw a basic genogram, beginning with your current family system I created the genogram that I use for illustration in this post using Microsoft Word, by inserting shapes. You can create also create a genogram electronically using GenoPro or Microsoft Word. If you're comfortable hand-drawing your genogram, then you'll only need the first three items. Suppliesīefore you begin, gather the following supplies: But, right now, you will focus on four foundational steps. During future steps, you will expand on the details of your genogram and include dates, relationship dynamics, and patterns. Creating Your Genogramĭuring this step, you will be creating the basic outline of your three to four generation genogram and noting all family members, relationships, and deaths. The genogram was developed by Murray Bowen, but has since been adopted by many family therapy approaches, as well as disciplines outside of family therapy. Its purpose is to help the member of the system (in this case, you) see their context in visual form, so that pivotal moments and notable patterns can be acknowledged and recorded (Kerr & Bowen, 1988). What is a genogram?Ī genogram is a visual representation of a family system, incorporating at least three generations of the system. I explain how to create a basic genogram that you can expand as you continue your exploration. In today’s post, I offer the next step in developing understanding: Creating your genogram. Bowen (1985) believed that if clients could understand themselves as members of their FOOs and as created by their histories, they could begin and continue significant change. Understanding is the foundation of Bowen Family Systems Theory (BFST). Hopefully, your curiosity has led to significant understanding. In article three of the Family of Origin for the Therapist series, you learned 3 simple steps for how to begin family of origin (FOO) exploration: 1) read Bowen’s chapter, 2) observe your FOO experience, and 3) reflect on what you learned. SMART Desktop 6.3 or higher (earlier versions are not supported) If you use SMART Connect, installed SMART Connect version 6. A computer (laptop or desktop) with Windows/Mac/Linux OS, with min 4GB RAM, 8GB or higher recommended Installed 3. iOS is currently not supported but it planned for a release in late 2020. An Android mobile device (version 4.4 or higher). Prerequisites To use SMART Mobile you must have: 1. SMART Mobile represents a significant enhancement to the existing functionality of CT, including: touch/swipe controls, advanced mapping and navigation, natively translated languages and further support for all unicode languages, multiple data point entry on one screen, flexibly change patrol metadata on the fly, configure real-time alerts for key observations, and many other new functionalities. Observations and GPS data can then be transferred directly into SMART Connect or desktop in semi-automated processes. However, if you need an earlier version of SMART to use with an existing SMART Connect instance, contact Mobile is powered by CyberTracker (CT) and leverages the functionality of CyberTracker (CT) by using a GPS enabled mobile device to collect both observations (text or icon based data entry and digital images) and GPS data in a single unit. We recommend all users install and use the latest version of SMART. NOTE: Upgrading a large database may take a while (10-15 minutes for a database with ~800,000 waypoints). If your reports reference a large number of queries this may take a while. You can do this for a particular report when it fails, or you can login to your Conservation Area, open the reports perspective, select all your reports, then right click and use the Update Report Query Bindings menu. It will be necessary to update query bindings for reports in your Conservation Area. At this point the backup will be upgraded and restored. You will be asked if you want to upgrade (and restore) – select ‘Yes’. A prompt will appear, warning that the backup file is not compatible with the current software version. Follow the wizard, and when asked to select a backup file to restore, pick the file created in step 1 above. On the login screen, select the ‘Advanced’ option, then the ‘Restore a Backup’ option. If you are going to install it in the same location as your previous version, you must delete the previous version first. Backup your existing SMART database using the ‘File -> Backup System’ menu option. This 42.zip is a little different than the one I compared against. The Wayback Machine has a copy timestamped 16:51:08. To upgrade to SMART 6x from previous versions of SMART 3-6: 1. The web server there naturally serves a copy of 42.zip. You can just drag and drop and let it automatically replace itself. Replace the “TS3.exe” in your program files with the “TS3.exe” that was included in the downloaded. Once the game is finished installing, go to Program Files > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Game > Bin.You don’t need to install the EA Download Manager to run the game.Let the game install the rest of itself.(FullBuild1.package is contained inside Disk 1, not in SIMS3.) If something different occurs on your computer while you’re trying to install it, try following the steps in the installation guide text file instead of mine. I clicked “Browse” then I clicked on This PC to expand it then I selected Disk 1 with the game’s plumbob icon next to it and I clicked OK. During the installation process, my game asked me for “Disk 1 that contains the file GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild1″.(Personally, it actually did not ask me for a code.) Enter it into the Sims 3 installer to continue the installation. Click “Generate” to generate a new Registration Code. Go back to the new folder (G4TW TS3 BG) where you put all the downloaded files. Since you’re torrenting it, you won’t have one.
