As long as you’re close to the platform and push forward, you will be fine. The game tries to fix this by letting you grab and climb even if you miss a jump. While flat surfaces are perfectly fine, every round object creates a problem for your character. However, there is one major issue that causes unnecessary frustration. Climbing is semi-automatic all you have to do is jump and push into an obstacle. Despite the fact that they are available, jog and sprint are absolutely useless on narrow paths.
